Agant, an aspiring pound sterling stablecoin issuer, today (3rd April 2025) announces the appointment of Lianne Dodds as Agant’s Chief Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer.

Lianne joins Agant with a wealth of experience in compliance and financial crime prevention, having held senior leadership positions across financial services, fintech, crypto assets, and payments sectors. Her extensive expertise in establishing robust compliance frameworks and navigating complex regulatory environments positions her perfectly to lead Agant’s compliance operations during an exciting phase of growth and regulatory alignment.

Prior to joining Agant, Lianne served as SVP Compliance & UK VASP MLRO at BVNK, where she oversaw the review and implementation of updated financial crime compliance frameworks. Notably, at Bottlepay, she secured the first FCA cryptoasset business registration for a Bitcoin Lightning Network payments provider, highlighting her capability to innovate and lead in dynamic regulatory landscapes.

Lianne’s earlier roles include senior compliance leadership at Sage PLC and Sage Payments, where she was instrumental in securing Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licenses and enhancing global financial crime compliance standards.
